Denise is a great example of always having the Hilltop spirit throughout the work she does. We work together through the Family and Adolescent Partnership and Family Connections collaboration. Denise helps families overcome barriers and connects them to community supports. She helps over 40 families at a time with finding housing, paying monthly bills, and finding medical and mental health care. She gives each family her complete attention and is always available to her co-workers and community partners if for help as well. She is a kind and understanding person no matter how difficult the situation may be, Denise is always thoughtful.

One example of Denise’s amazing work is a particular family who has a child with physical and mental health needs. She found and connected the family to long-term funding so that they could keep seeing their chosen mental health provider. She also found a positive mentor and helped this family address the child’s educational needs. Thanks to Denise this family is doing well. Now multiply this story 40+ times. The care and attention she gives to each individual she works with inspires us all.
