GVT Bus Passes: Grand Valley Transit offers employees of Hilltop a month bus pass for the discounted price of $22.50. Bus passes are picked up on the last Friday of each month and delivered later that  afternoon. Employees interested in purchasing a bus pass call Dillon Caster at 244-0810, you must have the exact cash up front.

Driver Training: Van certification training is held the first Thursday of each month at the Red Compass Office/Property Services Warehouse located at 1625 North 15th Street from 0900 – Noon. The course is a defensive driving course “Coaching the Van Driver III” and is recognized by the National Safety Council and taking the course may get you a discount on your automobile insurance.

Yearly driver re-certification: 1st Thursday of each month at the Red Compass Office/Property Services Warehouse located at 1625 North 15th Street from 8:00 – 9:00.

Accident Procedure

• Stop Vehicle in a safe location
• Call 911
• Treat any life threatening injuries
• Wait for law enforcement
• Call program supervisor to inform of accident and arrange for alternative transportation, if needed.Exchange information with driver of other vehicle(s) involved.
• Ask law enforcement for accident report number.
• If vehicle is not in way of traffic and we are responsible for towing call Dillon Caster 244-0810 or 852-1624
