We are Celebrating Anna Cubel for the February 2026 Mission Award

Anna Cubel exemplifies Hilltop’s mission through her unwavering commitment to connection, collaboration, and access to care. Over her 11 years at Hilltop, Anna has built meaningful relationships across agencies and throughout the state, always seeing opportunities to better serve our community through partnership. Her ability to connect people and programs has strengthened not only the Health Access program but the broader network of support available in the Grand Valley. With a point of contact nearly everywhere in the valley, Anna consistently opens doors for collaboration, ensuring individuals and families receive the services they need.

Her dedication to the Health Access program has been foundational to its long-standing success. Anna approaches each person she serves with genuine care and fierce advocacy, working tirelessly to ensure access to affordable healthcare in an increasingly complex and ever-changing insurance landscape. She has a remarkable gift for making complicated systems feel approachable and manageable, empowering community members to move forward with confidence.

Anna also embodies Hilltop’s values in the way she fosters inclusivity, fun, and growth. Whether hosting outreach events in the summer heat at the Farmer’s Market or traveling to rural corners of Mesa County, she serves as a warm and welcoming ambassador for Hilltop. Internally, she builds community among her colleagues, encouraging participation, inviting others to the table, and creating an environment where everyone feels included. Since stepping into her coordinator role, Anna has embraced feedback and growth with humility and intention, continually strengthening both her leadership and the programs she supports.
