Hilltoppers,

Things change very quickly!  Here is a quick update from my email this past Tuesday regarding flu vaccinations.

Yesterday afternoon, the flu vaccines actually arrived for Hilltop.  Marlys is quickly putting together a schedule and process to roll out flu shots for Hilltop employees.  On Tuesday, I encouraged you all not to wait on Hilltop to receive your flu shot since we had no timeframe of when we would receive the vaccines.  Today, I want to let you know we will be ready shortly to start delivering flu shots at your location and/or the corporate office.  This is a more convenient option AND we will automatically have the documentation for our records and reporting.

All employee’s still have the option of using your physician’s offices and pharmacies such as Walgreens, Safeway, City Market, and Walmart. Under the Affordable Care Act, the flu shot is classified as a ‘wellness vaccine’ and should have zero copay with Hilltop insurance (or a small copay without). If you work at the Commons, Fountains, Senior Daybreak, or LAP, getting your flu shot is mandatory to maintain our licensing. Marlys will need documentation of your 2020 vaccination for records and reporting, so make sure to keep the documentation

Together, we got this,

-Mike
