B4 Babies' Own Diana Martinez Named a Public Health Hero
We are thrilled to share some incredible news: Diana Martinez, a dedicated team member from Hilltop’s B4 Babies & Beyond program, has been recognized as one of Mesa County’s Public Health Heroes!
The Mesa County Public Health Department hosted their first Public Health Heroes awards celebration to honor individuals and organizations who go above and beyond to support the well-being of our community—often behind the scenes and without fanfare. This year, Diana was celebrated for her extraordinary work connecting families with the care, education, and support they need during one of life’s most important journeys: welcoming a new baby.
Diana has been a steady and compassionate presence in the lives of countless parents and caregivers. As a bilingual outreach coordinator with B4 Babies, she meets families where they are—offering personalized support with empathy, cultural understanding, and unwavering commitment. Whether she’s helping someone navigate Medicaid enrollment, schedule prenatal appointments, or simply lending a listening ear, Diana shows up with heart and purpose every single day.
Her impact stretches far beyond individual interactions. Diana’s work helps remove barriers to healthcare and early childhood resources, ensuring that every family has a fair shot at a healthy beginning. That’s the kind of ripple effect that builds stronger, more connected communities—and it’s exactly why she’s so deserving of this recognition.
Please join us in congratulating Diana on this well-earned honor! Your passion and dedication inspire us all. We’re so proud to have you on the Hilltop team. 💜
