We want to share an important update about our Employee Recognition Banquet. As you know, we originally planned to celebrate on April 11th. However, due to some unforeseen circumstances, we’ve decided to take a new approach this year—one that gives us even more of a reason to celebrate together.

Instead of hosting the Banquet in April, we’ve decided to combine it with a 75th Anniversary Celebration this summer. This means:

  • We’ll still have our 1950s theme (a nod to Hilltop’s beginnings), so hold on to your poodle skirts and leather jackets!
  • The event will take place in our new building on Main Street, giving everyone a chance to experience our new space together.
  • We’re making the most of our resources—both time and budget—while still ensuring we celebrate you, our incredible employees, and Hilltop’s milestone in a meaningful way.

We know that some may be disappointed by this change. However, we see this as an opportunity to reimagine the Banquet and make it even more special this year.

Do I have to fill out the form above even if I’m not coming?

Yes! Even if you’re not planning on attending a response is necessary. It helps the planning committee have accurate numbers for food, activities, and more.

What is this event? What can I expect?

This is our biggest event of the year! A chance to celebrate all the amazing things that Hilltoppers are doing throughout the year. But we’re Hilltop so this isn’t some uptight hoity-toity banquet—this is FUN! From the featured entertainment, games, chances to win prizes, the costume contest and theme—every part of this event is infused with fun! You can also expect dinner to be served and a bar. Each attendee is given two free drink tokens and anything after that you would need to pay for.

What should I do if I have a dietary restriction?

Please note that when you fill out the form to let us know that you’re coming! We will do our best to accommodate you. Many times there are vegetarian and gluten free options on the menu already but you will also be given a special meal ticket that you can give to Convention Center staff for a special meal specific to your needs.

I’ve hit a milestone—am I going to have to get up on stage?

We will be celebrating milestones and Mission Award Winners from Jan-Dec of 2024. We will not bring anyone up on stage without their permission. We want to recognize people how they’d like to be recognized!

I’ve heard there are games—how can I play?

When you check into the event you’ll be asked if you’re interested in playing a game up on stage. If you are, your name will be entered into the pool. Players are drawn at random throughout the program.

Do I need to arrive at 5:30pm?

You can arrive anytime, but be there by 7 PM for the start of the program. We expect the program to run from 7-9pm

Can I bring my family?

Each Hilltopper gets a plus one, however, we ask that ya leave the little tykes at home for this shindig.

Do I need to dress up?

No formal attire required! Dress for the theme—costumes are encouraged but optional. Fun is one of our values and we live it at this event!
