At the beginning of the year the youth at RYS held a fundraiser selling homemade soaps and dog treats. In total they raised $360 for the animals of Roice-Hurst, through their many hours of work crafting the goodies. The community partners of RYS, as well as the employees of Hilltop, helped make this a tremendous success and incredible learning opportunity for the youth. To honor their efforts, Hilltop donated an additional $300 toward the goal, bringing the total to $660 for the cats/dogs of our community. After many months of postponing the check presentation due to COVID-19 restrictions, staff Ashley Elliott, Krista Fox and Mike Stahl were able to deliver the funds this week.
