This Christmas Eve many Hilltop staff and volunteers came together to provide a warm meal and a little companionship to home-bound seniors. For six years now, Hilltop has taken over for Meals on Wheels to give their staff and volunteers a well-deserved holiday. Twenty volunteers were able to package 350 meals in just under an hour, and over 65 vehicles dispersed across the valley to visit those that might not be able to make a meal for themselves. The kitchen crews of both the Commons and Fountains made a delicious meal of turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, glazed carrots and of course, pumpkin pie! Thanks to all of the staff and volunteers that took time out of their holiday to spread a little joy to others.
