Darcy currently works as a Family Navigator for the Family Connections FAP (Family and Adolescence) program here at the FRC. She also does on-call for Latimer House, as well as several collaboratives with our partnering agencies.

She has been with Hilltop for over 6 years, and has worked with our participants in different capacities over the years. Darcy builds relationships with our participants in kind and compassionate ways. She has integrity and is always open to take responsibility or her actions and decisions.

Darcy is able to have difficult conversations and does so with great compassion and kindness. She is calm, empathetic, and always non-judgmental. Darcy takes on as much as we allow and does everything happily and completely. When she enters a room, you feel her calmness and how open she is to everyone. She is fun, has a great sense of humor, and is always enthusiastic about whatever is put in front of her.

Through her years here at Hilltop, Darcy’s growth has been steady. Darcy yearns to grow, and goes over and beyond to learn as much as she can as she continues to examine her own growth. She is open to coaching and input, and as a result Darcy has become a leader as well as an expert in her field. She likes to educate others and she is our own expert in parenting. She shares her knowledge in a way that honors the needs of her participants.

More recently, we have had very positive feedback from her participants as well as many thanks! We are excited to see Darcy continue as a true Hilltopper, and how she will further touch many lives in our community.

Hollie Vanroosendaal said, “She is very courageous and brave! She is a powerful voice and advocate in the community. Families describe her as kind, patient, a good listener, and helpful. She supports families as they navigate their own journey.”
