Hilltoppers,
Recently you all received the employee satisfaction survey that was intended to get to the heart of how Hilltop employees are feeling as we’ve adjusted to new COVID-19 policies. Thank you to the 313 employees that took the time to let their voices be heard. I wanted to get you some of the high level results and findings quickly, but your supervisor will have all the detailed information to pass along soon.
- Overall, employee perceptions of how Hilltop has responded, managed, and communicated during the pandemic were very positive.
- People agree that Hilltop has protected and continued to serve its clients, residents, and families.
- People agree Hilltop has communicated well, worked to boost morale, shown care for employee wellbeing, and provided the supplies and resources to do their jobs.
- Overall, people are still feeling mostly happy, even during these hard times. However, we want to acknowledge about 14% of our folks report being unhappy or very unhappy.
- Please talk to your supervisor or program manager if you’re experiencing signs of burnout: performance issues, distancing yourself emotionally, becoming cynical, feeling drained or unable to cope, having a hard time concentrating, etc.
- If you’re feeling these things in all areas of your life, not just work, please consider contacting Triad EAP 970-242-9536 to speak to qualified professional at no cost to you.
- If you suspect you or a co-worker is in danger of suicide, please call the Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255.
- Employees offered great suggestions for continued communication, morale-boosters, and requested support that we are looking at very closely!
- Hilltop leadership is committed to being responsive to your feedback and will continue to look for ways to improve in all of these areas.
- Over the next couple of weeks, Ops managers will be reviewing their program-specific data and suggestions to identify which things they can tackle next.
Thank you again for taking the time out of your hectic days to provide us with these results. Hearing feedback from our employees in all matters is what helps us grow and learn as an organization.
Together, we got this,
Mike
