“Nicole is an amazing Hilltopper, and incredibly valued as an essential part of the Latimer House team. Without Nicole’s courage (because it definitely takes a lot of courage to walk into some of our participant’s apartments), our residential facilities could not function. Nicole’s work is an important part of our participants’ experience– she is personable, efficient, detail-oriented, and can find the humor in all things, even in stressful situations. There is never a dull moment in crisis/residential services, and Nicole is always there to help…and to laugh with us when things get really strange. Thank you for everything you do, Nicole! We couldn’t do what we do without you.” – Kal Greenman-Baird

Our program is fortunate to have you, Nicole. It feels great that you care about us and we care about you as our friend. Nicole doesn’t just come to Latimer to do her job, she takes the time to teach us and supports us so that we do things as they should be. She present every day with a positive attitude and if she or we need a pep talk she’s always there to practice our love language of sharing a laughter. Thank you for playing a critical role in the success of our program. You are truly Hilltop.” – Laura MacIntire-Puente

“Nicole is a Rockstar when it comes to not only supporting the Latimer/FRC teams, but also the clients themselves! Nicole will go above and beyond, sometimes allowing the client a safe space to share their story, supporting them by providing them hygiene items, donations, etc., and often times helping to bridge the gap of communication between CL/CM. Nicole is never afraid to get her hands dirty (let’s face it, Latimer has had its fair share of “dirty adventures” recently), while always having a smile on her face and a contagious sense of humor. Nicole exceeds her expectations daily and is never afraid to jump in to help with various projects, whether big or small, ensuring the SH storage rooms, CL belongings, and donations are in tip top shape.

Nicole, we appreciate you so much! Not just for the work that you do for this team, but for the laughs and stories that we share, making our team that much more special.” – Lacie Peterson

“Nicole brings a great sense of humor, enthusiastic attitude, and willingness to see and meet the needs of our clients and the program.  I really appreciate her view of being a part of the Latimer team…not only the EVS team.  With that view, Nicole holds herself to a higher standard of responsibility and accountability to ensure our clients’ wellbeing, to be an excellent communicator with our team, and to put concerns on our team’s radar regarding clients’ needs.  She’s always willing to provide clients with items from our storage when she sees they need it.  She is so good at watching for our end of the day team report about who we have in safe house, exit dates, who’s coming and going and using that to see the need we have for her work, communicating back with us on what’s been done, and coming in with little notice at times to ensure we have a clean space when we are expecting a new client intake.  Without her paying attention to that, and taking care of the need she sees from that report, and communicating so well with the team…we would have chaos.  Nicole’s work keeps us organized, and allows our case managers to focus on their job at a much higher level.  Thank you Nicole for putting people first…our clients, our team, and our community!  You are a true Hilltopper!” – Hollie Vanroosendaal
