Nicolle Pineda

Nicolle is a member of the Leadership Team at both the Commons and the Fountains. She is the best and most fun, spirited cheerleader we have in a year when we all needed that very much. Her energy and enthusiasm is contagious, it’s impossible not to be happy when you are around Nicolle.

Nicolle has worked tirelessly to update our constant and necessary training which is an essential part of our work. She has created a new way to have our trainings/onboarding not only with Power Point formatting but also to record each training that every individual has completed and we have over 150 employees who work at just the Commons. When we could no longer meet in person for our All Staff Meetings Nicolle created a video on how to do large group trainings as well as recognition. Her creativity and clever way of including supervisors as well as volunteers brought happiness and joy and most of all laughter to what has been a very difficult year. I think everyone needs a little Nicolle Pineda in their lives, she brings sunshine everywhere she goes.

Niccole and I work both at the Commons and Fountains and it has been my pleasure to share office space with her. Her bright smile and eagerness and tireless energy have been an inspiration to me and everyone around her. Nicolle is the most amazing team player as well. Although she is the Director for Life Enrichment she consistently supports other departments, especially over the last 12 months.

When COVID hit Nicolle was the first to be certified to fit test our staff with N95 masks. From the start she has played a significant part in our large-scale resident and staff COVID testing. Her energy and ability to lift people’s spirits up kept us highly motivated throughout this most daunting task. She has handled everything from setting up interviews and hiring to keeping the staff and residents at each facility in SLO educated and informed. She has truly enriched our lives.
