Patty is always the first person to happily greet me when I come in to work. She is compassionate, funny, giving and always helpful. She puts our team before herself every single day. She is always there to listen and offer great advice and the occasional yummy snack.

I have not been with 2-1-1 for a very long time but from day one Patty has welcomed me and made me feel accepted and supported. She is a natural leader and role model for our, or any, team. It is my pleasure to work with Patty.

Patty has been with 2-1-1 for about 9 months. Her positive can-do attitude makes her an amazing team player. If it’s a crazy day she takes it all in stride with a smile on her face. She treats each caller with the upmost respect, talking to them as a friend would which puts them at ease.

From the beginning Patty has jumped right in to the job. Most recently she helped a caller who’s first language was Spanish. Patty took her time to listen to the caller’s story and assess their needs. Although Patty does not speak Spanish fluently she was able use the Spanish phrases she knows to get as much information as possible and explain all the resources available. She then reassured and encouraged them that everything was going to be alright. Patty has also taken the lead in getting 2-1-1 up and running with the Community Resource Network which is a Network in to connect most of the health care entities in western Colorado. She leads the team in “log ins” and entering clients. She is truly leading by her actions and is an inspiration to the rest of the team.
