Congratulations to Stefanie for winning Hilltop’s Mission Award for the month of October! She makes a huge impact on her team at the Montrose Family Resource Center; read how below!

Meets and exceeds job expectations.

  • Stefanie excels in her position as a Family Support Partner (FSP) for High Fidelity Wraparound in Montrose and Delta. She has been dedicated to her work, learning the role of a FSP inside and out, as well as coming up with new ideas and tools to further HFW in our region. Some of these tools have been adopted by our state funder and will be disseminated to other sites. Stefanie has also put a lot of effort into brainstorming how internal processes could be updated and organized to help with file management and tracking. Finally, she is adept a developing authentic and trusting relationships with participants while still maintaining healthy boundaries.

Is dependable and demonstrates consistent excellence.

  • Stefanie is incredibly dependable. See below in the Mission and Values section

Has a positive attitude.
Demonstrates an understanding and commitment to Hilltop’s Mission and values of:

  • Relationship
    • Stefanie maintains strong relationships with her coworkers and participants through her dependability, transparency, and kindness. She trusts the positive intention of others, and finds value in other people’s input. She is able to be vulnerable while still maintaining boundaries which leads to trust in her relationships. Stefanie has also built relationships with folks across the organization.
  • Integrity
    • Stefanie lives our value of integrity through her dedication to transparency and kindness (integral not only to relationship, but also to integrity!) She works hard to understand what “doing the right thing” is in difficult situations with participants or coworkers.
  • Courage
    • Stefanie is incredibly courageous: she is willing to have kind, yet hard conversations with her participants, her coworkers, and those in leadership when needed. She is actually helping to put on the new Difficult Conversations Course “Crucial Conversations.” She admits her own biases and asks clarifying questions when others might not have the courage to do so. She has the courage to speak up and ask questions when something at Hilltop seems out of line with our values. Importantly, Stefanie also has the courage to ask for help and practice humility with boundaries.
  • Inclusivity
    • Stefanie works to create a psychologically safe space for her coworkers and participants. She is an active member of our EDI team, and has worked hard to champion language equity. She looks to see who is not included in a discussion etc. and makes sure that there enough seats at the table for all (literally and metaphorically.)
  • Growth
    • Stefanie is always looking for opportunities for growth, and does so in a balanced manner – meaning she is self aware, and a holistic thinker that can turn down opportunities in the interest of gaining more skills before taking on that opportunity. She has sought out professional mentorships at Hilltop as well as more in depth professional development. She is also interested in and dedicated to the growth of Hilltop as an organization!
  • Fun
    • Stefanie definitely understands the need for fun and is assisting in putting on our local Fun Club. She also tries to ensure that there are opportunities for fun that are meaningful to folks with different styles. Stefanie works incredibly hard, but tries to find balance and prioritizes fun throughout her days.

Stefanie is a joy to work with. We loving having her on our team!
