Good Afternoon Hilltoppers!
The COVID-19/Coronavirus situation continues to evolve quickly, and I am greatly appreciative of all your efforts as we move forward. I see you all pulling together and I am proud of our team.
What’s New
The Montrose and Grand Junction Family Resource Centers are now closed to the public. Many services will now be offered by phone. Family Resource Staff should check with their supervisors for details.
The Mesa County Workforce Center is also closed to the public, with services being offered by phone.
Hilltop is implementing protocols to reduce potential incidents of exposure across different facilities. Whenever possible, we are asking you to use phone or video conferencing to conduct business with programs outside your primary location. This is significant to protect our most vulnerable clients in the residential facilities, and keep you healthy.
What’s Coming
We are working on a flow chart to help advise supervisors of the process when symptoms and exposure concerns arise. This will chart symptoms, appropriate course of actions, and use of PTO and EIB benefits. We hope to have this out to all supervisors tomorrow.
Keeping everyone healthy is important, and we are aware there may be a time in the near future where we will need to call on you to fill in for programs facing staffing shortages.
What We’re Doing to Help
Rebecca Weitzel, Director of Employee Success, has created an Employee Information Line that will be staffed with a live person who can answer questions, help trouble-shoot your challenges, point you to resources, and more. Employees can call (970) 244-0430 during regular business hours.
What We Ask of You
Please continue to practice social distancing in the workplace and community. Use the telephone versus meetings whenever practical. Stand and sit 6 feet away from others when possible. And please wash your hands frequently throughout the day.
Let’s continue supporting each other – we are stronger together. We got this!
