Challenging the status quo has been a part of Hilltop’s values for a long time. It takes courage to look at how we’ve always done something and dare to do it differently. Through examining a process and putting the results under a microscope, it lets us provide the best services to our clients we possibly can. The leadership team goes through that process every single day in regard to the changes we’ve made to combat COVID-19, and the conclusion we’ve come to right now is: what we are doing is working.
Because of the changes you all have helped implement, Hilltop has remained functioning, our clients are receiving the services they need, and our residents remain safe and COVID-19 free. As the state starts to slowly lift restrictions for others, I want you to take pride in the fact that is able to happen because of what we are doing right here. The plans we have implemented for Hilltop will not change for now, but the community can start to test the waters of lightened restrictions because of the work you are doing. Now is not the time to let up on our protocols. Keep wearing the masks, practice social distancing at all times and consistently be washing your hands.
We will never stop challenging the status quo here at Hilltop. It is deeply rooted in what we value and our culture. Sometimes the answer to the challenge is to bravely change what we are doing, and sometime the answer is to maintain our course. We will continually be reexamining how we are doing things, but for now, know that what we are doing is working and we will keep moving forward.
