Alicia Hampton has been a volunteer with the Domestic Violence parenting group for over three years.  She brings with her a professional background in school counseling and is an invaluable support to program staff as a resource during groups.  It is not uncommon for her to share something that she has come across or other resources to enhance the group discussion and interaction. She is incredibly reliable and enthusiastic about group dynamics. “It is rewarding to feel like I make a difference in the lives of others by offering a safe place for parents to seek support and talk openly about challenges they have.  It is so cool to watch how they gain confidence and share their expertise with others in the group,” says Alicia.

“She is a warm and wonderful person, and our clients benefit from her knowledge, her experience and especially her gentle presence. I feel so much more confident that we are providing quality services to our clients when she and I can both be there,…having a second person in the group helps people feel less vulnerable,” say group facilitator, Joanie Leinbach. Thank you Alicia and congratulations!
