Hilltoppers,
I hope this update finds you well and that you and your families are rolling along with the daily changes to our lives. I want to catch you up with some of the significant updates happening at Hilltop.
First, we have implemented a new leadership structure effective immediately. It is a “temporary” structure to assist with the COVID-19 requirements and may be tweaked as needs arise.
- Mike Stahl – Incident Command; maintains organizational direction and is the final decision maker.
- Cathy Story – Operations; specific oversight of all Senior Life Option programs, with additional oversite of facilities, environmental services, and transportation. Cathy will also be assessing childcare options for our employees.
- Jed Balestrieri – Operations; specific oversight of the Bacon Campus and DV Services. In addition, Jed is in charge of developing a back-up staffing plan. This plan will address displaced Hilltop employees as well as new hires to meet the essential job needs at Hilltop.
- Will Hays – Logistics; handles the resources needed for the organization including supplies, employees, information, purchasing, storage, and subcontractors. Maintains oversight of the Family Resource and Workforce Centers.
- Carter Bair – Business Continuity; monitors funds spent, pays bills, and documents expenses. Creates redundancies for business systems and makes sure the business continues to operate.
Governor Jared Polis sent out an executive order yesterday (3/22) enhancing previous direction for social distancing and focuses on the reduction of the on-site workforce by 50%, starting Tuesday, March 24th. Although nearly all of our programs are classified as critical businesses, the intent of his order is to increase social distancing and implement tele-work capabilities to the greatest extent possible. Supervisors are quickly assessing and determining where this tele-work makes the most sense for Hilltop.
The majority of Hilltop employees are deemed essential workers and your skills and talents are critical to serving our clients. Therefore, continue to promote social distancing, washing hands frequently and standing back 6-ft from others when practical. The Governor’s order further encourages all employees to practice social distancing outside of their employment and to only engage in activities or perform tasks critical to their health and safety, or the health and safety of their family or household members.
Thank you all for doing your part in keeping yourselves, your loved-ones and our clients healthy.
We got this,
Mike
