Last weekend was the annual Grand Junction Lion’s Club Carnival.  This is our primary fundraising event for the year.  Our goal was to raise over $200,000.00 in this event which will be reinvested right back into our community.  Trevor Wickersham and Jon Tadvick are the two current GJ Lion’s Club members and between the two of them, they raised $1,850.00.  We could not have asked for better weather for our parade down main street.  Jon is the Chair of the Hot Dog Booth and his daughter thought that he would look better in his Hot Dog costume with a ketchup, mustard, and relish mustache for the parade.  The Carnival on Saturday night was packed and several people won great prizes.  Trevor and Jon would like to thank Mike and all of the Hilltop employees who supported us in purchasing a book of raffle tickets
