Victoria joined the team a year ago, stepping directly into a Supervisor position—something that’s fairly uncommon, as the role is usually filled by someone already working within the department. Starting in this position meant learning an entire campus, getting to know residents, understanding policies, and adapting to how things are done here. It’s a lot to take on, and even a year later she continues to learn every day, consistently absorbing information and accepting feedback with openness and professionalism.

One common challenge in healthcare, especially in assisted living, is staff turnover and last-minute call-outs. Victoria has stepped in to run shifts when the team was extremely short staffed. Even in those moments, her attitude has been, “Welp, we’re here—let’s get it!” While those days are undoubtedly exhausting, what others see is her positive spirit. She continues joking with the team and keeping morale up.

Every interaction with Victoria tends to come with a smile or a laugh. Her energy and presence make a meaningful difference across campus, and it’s something that doesn’t go unnoticed.

Hilltop is grateful she chose to be here. It truly is an honor to have her on the team and to recognize her as the April Mission Champion.
