Ashley is a CNA Participant Specialist at Montrose Senior Day Break and has been working at Hilltop for two years. Ashley is deserving of this award because she has shown by her actions that she believes and lives Hilltop’s values. Ashley has a desire to grow in her role and she is willing to learn all kinds of new things in order to achieve that growth. She has taught herself how to use Excel and Publisher and has taken on coordinating our monthly menu and our activity calendar. Having been a care staff in a nursing home prior to her role at Hilltop, computers were a bit foreign to her. Ashley continually is working on building relationships with participants, their caregivers and other Hilltop employees. She has worked very hard overcoming her shyness to be engaging, warm and welcoming to anyone who walks through our door. She coordinates and organizes events such as Spirit Week, Revisiting the Decades (5O’s on the 5th, 60’s on the 6th, 70’s on the 7th and 80’s on the 8th.) Ashley will always put people first and has taken on additional responsibilities without hesitation. Most recently, our program leader has been out for an extended period of time. Ashley has increased her hours, worked out childcare so she can cover the entire program day and continues to have a smile on her face. She has gone above and beyond and continues to provide quality programming for our participants. Ashley will challenge the status quo and has developed the skills to ask for what she needs from her team, her supervisor and from Hilltop. Thank you Ashley!
