Hilltoppers,
It’s been a long and hectic week and I am incredibly grateful for all your hard work, resilience, and positive attitudes. I am inspired by your ability to come together to meet our rapidly changing needs. We got this. Below are a few important points from this week.
The Montrose and Grand Junction Family Resource Centers are now closed to walk-in services. Many services will now be offered by phone.
Please continue to practice social distancing in the workplace and community. Use the telephone versus meetings whenever practical. Stand and sit 6 feet away from others when possible. And please wash your hands frequently throughout the day.
Please do not come to work if you have any of the following symptoms: fever, shortness of breath, vomiting, or diarrhea. Contact your supervisor and follow your program’s policy related to illness.
As we evolve to meet the ever-changing demands of responding to the COVID-19/Coronavirus pandemic. We may need to ask you to work from a different location, different shift times, or perform new duties to help fill shortages in different programs. What won’t change is our need for your talent, knowledge, and experience. We greatly appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we move forward.
Hilltop’s business operations are running smoothly. You can continue to count on receiving your paychecks, health insurance, and other benefits as usual. We’ve also implemented new PTO and EIB guidelines to cover staff affected by the COVID-19 protocols, including up to 4 days of Hilltop paid time off for anyone awaiting COVID-19 testing results
I encourage anyone who has questions or concerns to reach out to their supervisors, or call the Employee Information Line at (970) 244-0430 during regular business hours.
We got this.
Mike Stahl
