It’s great to be back and sharing my first official update in a while. First, I would like to thank everyone for their outstanding efforts in my absence, keeping Hilltop working like the well-oiled machine it is. While I am still catching up, I am happy to see some of the projects that have been completed, and the continued care and service provided to our clients and residents.
One positive change which occurred while I was out, is that the State heard our pleas for the loosening of some of the COVID regulations in our assisted living facilities. Below is an outline of the latest State mandated guidelines which we are required to follow as licensed assisted living facilities. You will notice these new guidelines greatly lessen requirements for Hilltoppers who have received their COVID vaccines. While I recognize being immunized for COVID is a personal choice, being fully vaccinated can directly impact your work experience. In compliance with the State, the following guidelines will be implemented in the near future on our assisted living properties. Timeframes and specific processes will come through Program Directors.
These changes continue to move us closer to pre-COVID business practices, which are a welcome step in the right direction, not only for ourselves, but for our residents and clients. If you do choose to receive a COVID vaccine, it’s FREE and easy. Just go to www.health.mesacounty.us/covid19/vaccine.
