Pride Month
PRIDE
Pride month originated from a few individuals standing up against prejudice, discrimination, and mistreatment based on sexual orientation and gender identity in 1969. Many advances have taken place since then regarding basic human rights and protections against discrimination. Even with these advances, we recognize that attitudes, beliefs, laws, institutions, and systems continue to perpetuate exclusion and harm to those in the LGBTQ+ community… and especially to those within this community who are also people of color. Hilltop recognizes and celebrates that your sexual orientation, gender identity, and all the things that make you who you are also help to make Hilltop a beautiful mosaic!

Let’s come together during the month of June to learn, to grow, and to participate in events that help us develop a mindset of inclusivity and belonging.
