Professional Experience: 17 years at Hilltop doing everything from girls’ youth residential to coordinating SB94 & FAP, being the administrator of brain injury service, home care, and day programming and now supporting three assisted living communities, the cottages, and Senior Day Break. This included getting the assisted living licensed for the first time as well as advocating at the State level to change rule and all the day to day in between including MANY operational changes that needed smooth implementation. I’ve been on a State Board.
Prior to Hilltop I worked in child welfare as well coordinating a community based prevention, treatment, and intervention collaborative (Meth Task Force). This included public speaking as well as all that comes with coordinating many disciplines all with different ideas of success.
I’ve also owned and operated a private family business.

This progression has given me a deep understanding of both the day-to-day operations and the broader management aspects of assisted living. My background also includes work in other assisted living communities, as well as experience in the restaurant industry and as a veterinary technician.
